Our (uMSPP-RM) Multi-Service Provisioning Platform as a Rack mounted type is part of Hitron Multi-Service Provisioning Platform, a compact shelf structure (5RU Height) fiber optical solution that delivers TDM services at a fraction of the cost of traditional equipment. This device is expandable up to 64 E1/DS1 channels and can perform remote control to 4 FOM units. This advantage is outstanding for metropolises. It will save time and money when managing telecommunication equipments and serving wide end users.
uMSPP-RM can be configured as a Terminal Multiplexer (TM) with the transport capacity of 155 Mbps (STM-1) for each main board (MS-155RM). It's a flexible and convenient design that allows service providers to invest and slowly upgrade according to the area requirements without wasting resources, and finally reach the maximum capacity for dense business.
Hitron uMSPP-RM has centralized control architecture with 4 identical main boards that uses a single SNMP agent controlled by one of them. With the characteristic of easy level swap, any main board can become master board while the others willl remain as slaves in the centralized structure giving the end user the advantage of u sing standard main boards for any slot of the uMSPP-RM.
uMSPP-RM platform is fully compatible with uMSPP-155 device giving a complete solution for telecom applications with the traditional Point to Multi-Point architecture.
